the purpose of the workshop was to explain and demystify the simple principles behind photography, through hands-on process of building and using simple photographic devices.
in the workshop participants learned to build room-sized camera obscuras, box pinhole cameras, small cameras for solarography. also, they mastered the basics of diy photo chemistry - both using commercial developers/fixers and home-brewed coffee developers.
